    • What People are saying about this course —

“I have 25+ years experience as a CPA, and completed the AICPA PFS credential classes before I attended the FP Advocate classes.  I did not feel prepared to provide financial planning until I went through the FP Advocate classes, which gave me a more in depth view of how the financial planning process actually works and how straight forward it is to move forward once you have the steps down.  After I completed training I felt that I had a good handle on processes, and the checklists and documents needed to move forward.  Meeting advisors in investments, banking, insurance, etc, and seeing their part of the process (how they are brought into the planning process) provided an even better understanding of how all of the pieces come together!”

What they are saying about our coaching and mentoring —

“I have found the coaching/mentoring part of FP Advocate invaluable.  Having Tom and Susan Tillery, experienced advisors in financial planning, available to answer questions and guide my first engagement and documentation requirements helped me sleep at night knowing I can reach out as needed to continue moving forward as is best for my client in their financial planning process.  In two hours, Tom provided a very clear initial understanding of the pieces that would need to be worked through for a significant engagement, along with an idea on the hours it would take to complete it.  Since I am billing set fees having an idea on the hours allowed me to be very comfortable providing a fee arrangement to start my first engagement!  Last but not least, seeing the way the engagement letter Tom & Susan provided as a sample works in tandem with the RIA required engagement agreement ensuring you don’t miss anything in the required scope…wonderful knowing I am not missing anything (yes, they provided guidance on the RIA one too!).”
